My boyfriend and I heard about this game a few days ago and we thought it is funny and printed it and had our first test-game today. We really like the idea and the graphics and so we were excited to play the game after so many hours spent to cut and print...
Upon character creation and the game play we came across some questions:
- harden: What is the duration of a spells - i.e. harden? If I harden someone's skin how long doest he effect last?
- parry: what sense have a feat like parry - one more point in defence is 1st same cost, 2nd don't need a weapon that can be broken, 3rd can not be used in some special cases... just wondering...
- stealth/detection: When do monsters use dices to detect us - because with stealth they have one less - don't they?
- spells: Where is the spells section in the new rulebooks you made for testing? (we searched for a different explanation on the spells-duration and did not find the spells section at all)
- monster detection: if our party kills a monster with a ranged attack and was not detected before - do the monsters detect us for killing a monster even if we aren't in there detect range?
- white/black tiles: What are the two different colours for - we first printed all of them but in the end we guessed the white are just for saving ink... but maybe we are wrong?
- wandering monsters: if we kill all monsters in a room and we are still in this room - do we have to check for wandering monsters?
- wandering monsters: if we go back in a room we cleared already - do we make ONE check for wandering monsters or does every hero make a check?
- attacks: we can't walk diagonally - but can we attack/heal diagonally? -> is a diagonally standing figure adjacent?
- chests: if there is a treasure chest left over in a room - does it disappear or stay when we leave the room? same with hollows in the ground from quakes... (monsters stay, right?)
- construction: if we open a door and see the new room full of monsters - can we just walk away and open another door? and just go in rooms with treasure chests? and the monsters don't follow us?
- magic: can i cast a spell without a goal - i.e. drain without a monster I can cast it on - just for the exp?
And now for the suggestion:
It would be really cool if you would make a FAQ post in the forum or better - on your website where all the question you answered already can be found in one place. You could just copy-paste them from the forum - it's not a big deal, isn't it?
