Space Troopers
Science Fiction, Space troopers
Heroic BackgroundAll the scenarios in the game should be fairly limited to one or two worlds. The worlds can be earth- like, but they should have their own dangers. There should be some sort of Base the troopers can fight from that has their equipment.
All the players should be Space trooper fighting forces, although they could specialise in civilian skills, especially if they are required for the situation they are in. They could be a special forces group or part of a large army.
The Troopers may be fighting rebels, a hostile faction of their own race or aliens.
Technology is greatly advanced. Battlesuits, walkers spaceships are all common.
Characters
AttributesUnarmed Combat - This can be extended to cover individual versions (Boxing, Kung Fu etc.)
Hand to Hand Combat - This can be extended to cover different weapons (Swords, staff etc.)
Shooting - This can be extended to cover different ranged weapons (Rifles, Machineguns etc.)
Demolitions - This can be extended to cover different forms (Heavy Machinery, Explosives etc.)
Vehicle pilot - This can be extended to cover different vehicles (Tanks, Walkers etc)
Science (Specific) - Chemistry, Biology, Physics or others
Mechanical (type) - Walker, Tank, Spaceship or others
Technical (Type) - Computer, Communications, Medical or others
Common attributes may be used but will most likely not be useful.
Perks:Common perks can be used, but may need some adjustment depending on how effective they are.
Battle Suit - This character can use a Battle Suit without penalties -1
Sixth Sense - This character can sense danger -1
Pure - Mutation resistant DNA means this character is immune to radiation or retro viruses -2
Quirks:Common Quirks can be used but may need some adjustment depending on how effective they are.
Space Shock - This character is afraid to fly in space +1
Coward - This character hates battle +3
Items:Armour or soft suits should be the standard battle dress.
Battle suits (Armour) of various types should be allowed in hard situations.
A Walker could be used as a heavy support but should be limited.
Weapon choice should be limited in number but still have a wide range of damage ability and use: 10 -20 different types.
Equipment for survival will be available: Medical centres, bionics or biological regrowth facilities. Communications equipment, computers and other information services will also be available.
AntagonistsThere should be a limited number of antagonist types but they can be expanded by giving them different abilities or equipment.
Some of the abilities or equipment should be:
Flying
Heavy Armour
Heavy weapons
Scary
The antagonists should be of varying abilities to give the players a chance to use various items of equipment.
Players should be introduced to the different antagonists gradually, rather than coming upon them all at once.
Scenarios
First encounterThis will be a light encounter with only a few lower level antagonists. The players should be encouraged to be over-confident and unprepared for what they encounter. Equipment should be kept to the basics.
Provided they don’t bug out too easily give the players plenty of information about the antagonists they encounter.
The HuntThis scenario is a basic “track down the enemy and kill them”. It can be used multiple times, to help improve the players’ attributes for other scenarios. The encounters should be different and can be used to introduce new antagonists each time. Encourage the use of some of the more advanced equipment even if sometimes it results in overkill. The Antagonists should generally stand and fight until destroyed.
InterceptThis scenario can be used multiple times and be adapted in various ways. Encourage the use of equipment and allow for big battles. Players can come up with Ambushes or other ideas.
RescueIn this scenario another unit or section is under attack and losing. The decision to help or not may be put into the players hands, to make this a bit more interesting. Some weakness or vulnerability may be discovered to make future scenarios more interesting.

I mention common attributes, perks and quirks. This should be a generic list this has items that apply to any type of world. Some examples might be:
ocean swimming, rock climbing, stealth or search attributes.
Brave, charismatic, rich or well connected Perks.
Shy, Short, nearsighted or arrogant Quirks
However there is no place where this exists at the moment. Possibly they could be added to the main rules as a suggestion and guide rather than something to follow exactly?
