Well I am working on a small board game using the flat out war system. This board game is a 8X10 grid of a nation. Each unit represents about 1000-5000 troops. So I had to modify the rules a little bit.
I have the counters and stuff done I just need to write statistics and starting positions!
The war of Frri - Flat out War
Changes in the base rules to make the game board based : -All units represent an entire unit of between 1000-5000 troops. -Change movement chart as follows : Infantry : d4 : 1 d6 : 2 D8 : 2 D10 : 3 D12 : 4 D20 : 5 Cavalry : d4 : - d6 : 3 d8 : 3 d10 : 2 D12 : 2 D20 : 1 -Only the units on the top of the 'stack' are engaged in combat. Once a unit has attacked it can not attack again in that same turn. A dead unit is removed from the board.
