How about some sort of beserk or frenzy attribute for them? Do you think that would be appropriate?

I was looking for anything really. Berserk Frenzy would definitely be a start. Something like the Waargh! or even Animosity would be a welcome addition. More importantly, I would like attributes that aren't covered by something else, but players will say "Hey thats's cool!!". I was also thinking about abilities that may not be a single attribute, but a group of attributes that do the same thing but change with the 'base die' or the movement or some other variable.

An attribute that changes depending on the base die. Thats an interesting thought! I will have to give that one some serious think time.

Glide - Like the squirrels these troops have wings allowing them to glide. Only downhill. Tripples move. This is not flight.
Super Swim - This troop can move double speed in Water. ( Like Crocs )
Fire Breath - Once per game troop can breath fire for a single attack as from an increased die ( D6 becomes D8)
Shield Wall - Troops can form a Shield Wall giving all but the two guys on the end a defensive bonus
Awesome Mounted Charge - a move by these mounted troops of at least 3/4 of a full move in a straight line at the front of an enemy causes a morale check in those being charged.

Wow! Those are some really good ideas . . . great ideas actually! I am already thinking of the different types of special troops you could have using these abilities. Thank you very much.

Hey guys, (my english is bad, but i hope, you can understand this ) here is a new (but old) ability: Hordes (+1DAC): Only weak units (D4) can be hordes. Because they`re too weaky and weasly, that they grouped together in big units. So a horde unit can have up to 4 ranks à 5 figs and can attack with the first 2 ranks. Columm: more figs in file than rank (20 figs -> 4 in ranks, 5 in file) Line: more figs in rank than file (20 figs -> 5 in ranks, 4 in file)

or a new rule:
1 on 1: A Fig, who has the ability magic or command, or has a base die of 10 or more, can make an 1 on 1. This is an epic duell between 2 enemy-chars. If an 1 on 1 is declared, than the enemy must agree to this, they moved in this turn together an fought an 1 on 1. If the enemy disagree, then all friendly units of this char within 8" must make an moral-roll, cause they`re "hero" scares. In an 1 on 1, the two chars cant be attacked by other units. A char can flee out of an 1 on 1 at every time (like normal withdraw), but then all friendly units within 8" must make an moral roll. If an char is killed in 1 on 1, nobody must make an moral roll, because the char is killed like an hero. Only one 1on1 can be every time on the battlefield. Char who declared an 1on1, act after a friendly unit has make an activation (this is the only time, where an player can activate 2 units per turn).
What do you think of this rule (maybe an optional rule)?

Both rules are great. They are easy to implement and would have a great effect on game play. Well done!
