The Pygmies are here! Oversoul Games and I, PJ Pieterek, are proud to present the free rules and minis of skirmishing between small tribes of pygmies. Grab your own copy on www.oversoul-games.com/If you recognize the minis, you are probably right. I have posted them before under the name Bryn Brenainn on www.paperworlds.com but now the rules are based on our own ground rules, Flat out War. And the pages of minis have been redesigned with both my Bryn Brenainn logo and the Oversoul Games logo. The pygmies all have white head-dresses. That is for your convenience, just paint the feathers in a colour of your choice. If you have any questions, there are contact information on our homepage. You are of course welcome to send me a PM on Paperworlds too. Just look up brynbrenainn. /Bryn Brenainn, PJ Pieterek

The set looks good. The rules and layout in the guide are very nice!

This is an excellent supplement for Flat out War, especially if you have some young kids. I spent a very enjoyable weekend playing this with my nephews and nieces. (Thank goodness for print and play!) The figures and models are cute and easy to put together. The campaign rules add a bit more spice to the games and maintain their interest. Thank you very much!
The Bluecrest's (run by my oldest Niece (14)) won by having the biggest tribe by the end of the weekend. (My youngest Niece (11) actually won more games but didn't quite get the hang of the campaign game!) My Nephew (12) just had fun playing, although he also enjoyed building the huts and figures just as much. (Lots of expanding armies over the three days!!) My Tribe did not do well as I was distracted early on trying to help everyone out with the rules.

It sounds like you had a great time. And how could you not? Pygmies is a great game, PJ design was brilliant. I have spoken to him about implementing his campaign system in other FOW supplements.
If you ever got a few hours you should write up an AAR, I am sure PJ and all of us Pygmy fans would love to hear it. Too bad you did not get some pics of the game that would have been great!

Unfortunately photos would not helped any. The scenery was sparse and the figures were rough. BTW it would be really great to have a reference pic of the huts!

I have started cleaning up the pygmy figures today, but my camera is out of batteries (taking too many photos of splatball!!) Unfortunately I will be busy with other stuff for the rest of the week, so expect something early next week hopefully!! (Just thought I would be mischevious and get you excited!!)
