Pohkabush: A bush with very odd markings on one side of the leaves. The pygmies use the leaves of the Pohkabush to play with, almost like cardgames are played in other parts of their world. Sorry guys... Perhaps a bit too much Alice in Wonderland... "Off with their heads!!"

A possible name for the snakes:
Kaathon: Intelligent, talking constrictor snakes. Big enough to be quite a threat to a Pygmy. They usually are solitary. But they have a society of sorts, so they can be seen in groups with a defined social structure too.

I think it would be cool if there would be termites in big Dens. the termites are eatable and full with proteins. The termites are almost peacefull but if a pygmy comes in the nearer area around the Den then hundrets of termites swarm out to scavenge the pygmy.

An anteater could eat the termites and be hunted for food by the pygmys. Maybe there could be a giant anteater. The giant anteater is also dangerous for the pygmys because he is about 3 times bigger then them. And if a pygmy hunts a baby of a giant anteater he often has to run away because of the babys mother. Nobody likes to mess with an angry giant anteater mum.

lolz!
I like the big, angry Anteater mum approach. A big, armoured anteater could be a good mount for a strong Boss or warchief.
But maybe the termites should be toned down a bit... Savaged pygmies sounds both a bit scary and messy to me.

I've designed a few frogs, but how can I post them into this forum ( it's a jpeg file). OOH! Frogs? Pygmies riding giant frogs or Giant frogs wearing headresses and emerging from the swamps to attack the Pygmies?

giant frogs with aztec like temples....wait that part has been done.....ohh foowhey Most of those guys were lizards with an occasional token frog thrown in to satisfy the NAAFP (National Association of Aztec Frog Persons). An all frog army, either Aztec or Zulu (picture Zulu Dawn with thousands of frogs) would be groovy. ;D

Froggy Zulu Dawn. Cool!
Even if the frogs where smallish, that mass of frogs would be a menace to the Pygmies on par with the Kaathons...
And just think of the moral-sinker when you hear the frogs croaking up at sunrise.... Sheeez....
Oh... And as a side note: Frogs as riding animals are an idea I have reserved for the Tortoise Empire.

That is what I meant with frogs, not big war frogs, just frogs. Maybe you can put them into your collection to have some frogs around a lake, or something like that....
