YIKES! I will haveto fix that!
1. Was a last stage realization that I had no instructions at all for air refill canisters, which I deemed to be comlicated enough to warrant something, I threw them in their and obviously they were to small
2. I should have put one each for the ammo dump and the ARS.
3. I could hop on a plane to australia and read the rules to you so there is no misunderstandings anymore ;P
Thanks for the heads up

I did say they were features, not problems! HOWEVER One other minor gripe, is the formatting of the rules. Simple things like section titles being at the bottom of the previous page, no page numbers (for when you drop the rules and they scatter all over the floor! ) A table of contents! Also as I said to Alex, unit pictures would be really helpful, it adds pizazz to the rules and clarefies what figure is what!! (not that it is too hard to work out?) Just some ideas for the next version of the rules P.S. If you got on a plane to Australia we could perhaps play a game as well??? ;D

I will admit the Splatball rules were a rush job. I am not happy with it. I also must admit I have not printed out any Splatball minis. Hopefully that will be rectified soon. Once I have some I will be taking some pictures and redoing the rules to include a new logo, new titles, the pics, and yes page numbers.
PS That is a BIG If

Why are you putting these things on a public forum? We're all game designers here. Dont you know you shouldn't tell the people that if you think its straight in your mind you dont really need to play the whole thing (Unless your starting out of course.). But I do actually find that interesting. If I see a game as clicking in my mind I figure it'll work (From expierence) on the ground. Is that how you guys see it?

Well I have just finished edging and basing the 24 figures I had printed and cut out. It really is amazing how much time it takes to do these paper miniatures.
One thing I would suggest is making the bases Hex or square. I am finding it a real pain to cut circles out of Foamcore for the wall-bases, Air and Ammo dumps!
However the figures look great, and hopefully I can finish the rest before the weekend is over.
I will be posting photos as soon as I can!

Sounds good to me. Squbases have always bugged me for terrain, it just never feels natural. I can see it for the bunkersvthough. Maybe hexagonal is the answer. SOmething to ponder

I concur. I too think hex/square are waayyy easier to handle. Yup, I too use foamcore.... Maybe if one used thicker paperstock instead.... Hmmm... Nah...
/pj ;D

Do you mean these minis in particular or just paper minis in general?

These minis in particular. But that is not a bad thing!!! The black borders meant I needed to edge the minis. Not something I always do. (Funny 'cause I create a lot of Black border minis . . . I guess I just print and build mainly White border . . .)
Also some of the shapes of the minis are quite complex. Again not a bad thing!! I would rather have the cool dynamic poses than a bunch of uniform straight easy to cut miniatures.
Just look at the photos and you will see they are worth the trouble! I hope this clarifies things!
