Howdy,
I hope as a new guy my idea presentation isn't out of line, you know, having not made my bones yet.
My concept is fast attack units in the form of kid on bike, two kids on a bike, skateboarders, in-line skaters, an old school roller skates. Variations in speed due to the propulsion means, surface they're moving on: Skaters can't use non-paved surfaces, bikes can go all terrain to the most part. Attack capability in accordance with what each kid can handle from the mode of transport being used; Skaters no hands needed for steering so, light splat weaponry, lone biker needs at least one hand to steer on pavement but can carry heavy weaponry, rough terrain will require the biker to use both hands to control bike or risk a wreck (oooh! Skinned knee, biker runs home crying). So the single biker would need to stop to fire on rough surface. The biker trailing another kid has heavy weaponry, no real terrain issues till it gets rough then speed would be inhibited (this would of course require initially high cost to field).
Biker.
Speed single: high due to lighter weight on pavement, slightly slower on grass
Firing: One hand aiming on pavement (not steady), grass would requirer biker to stop to fire but a steady two hand shot, shooting while on riding over grass decreases accuracy and increases potential for accident.
Speed two on bike: slow due to trailing someone, slower still while trailing over grass
Firing: Steady increased accuracy on pavement, less accurate on grass but doesn't require to stop and shoot.
Double rider also allows for supplemental rule of passenger bailing off bike to attack on foot!
I would add some sketch ideas but recently had surgery to remove a bone spur in my drawing hand.
Comments please!
