Well this weekend I started putting my vision of Drakkenheim into reality. I began in earnest creating the dark, decrepid, and twisted houses of that forsaken city. I am starting with some vanillas.
The first couple I am desiging I want to be very verisitile(sp?) I am desigining it in section that could mixed or matched to create several unique structures. Different parts and color schemes.
Once this building is complete I will move on to the walls of the city, in the same manor. Design a few walls, and some add ons such as towers, and a gate house.
After that I still have a few more unique buildings in mind and maybe a few more interchangle ones.
I do not have a timeline as of now. Most likely quite awhile but I am working on it. ;D

I would love to see some progress shots! Eastern Vampires Modular town (over at paperworlds) looks impressive. I am sure you could utilize some of his concepts to increase the versatility of your own constructions. An idea I have seen put into practice for WWII gaming that may be useful in Drakkenheim, is interior floor plans. These can be used to denote where figures are inside a building. In the example below. The light red areas are locations where figures can see out and be seen from outside for combat purposes. Any other location inside and they are effectively hidden. If a figure outside, comes to the window or door then naturally they can see any figures inside and they can be seen by figures that are inside. (barring interior walls!!) It can make for some interesting games and isn't too difficult to play.

That would be cool. I cant wait to see what you come up with. I especially like the twisted haunted look of the sketches of the houses in the other thread. ;D Kind of a steampunk Gothic Horror area.
