I have been thinking of redoing and adding to the terrainsets. But I want you all to chime in on this: Do you prefer pure flat trees and terrain? Or do you want 2.5D terrain with a simulacrum of depth like my trees mounted as an X...? Please, I would like to have as many voters as ever possible - since I cannot really make up my mind meself at the moment... ;D Dont misinterpret my last paragraph, I want you to vote on what you want, I am not particularly fishing for votes in my favor - just that many people vote.

I think there are a few issues with 2.5D terrain. - The wasted card that an X frame tree produces when printed out
- The dilhema on how to mount it onto a base (so it won't fall over) Or whether to mount it at all?
- The playability of using the pieces. 2.5D trees take up space and can get in the road of movement etc.
I find the bushes and small terrain is not a problem. anything around a figure size is manageable in 2.5D. It is only the larger terrain that seems to become an issue.

Thanky, I would appriciate more comments if ya'll have any to add. My response on Shauns' comments would be: * I agree * I agree * Isn't taking up space the general idea with terrain...? See what I mean by indecided...? ;D Thanks again for the votes, 2D is in a clear lead. I will Try to modify the old files. If push comes to showe I still have the linework on paper to be rescanned and retexturized. Polls are fun, please vote!

I meant "take up space" as "take up space that makes it hard to place figures correctly on the game area". Trees suffer from this whether paper or any medium. Before paper gaming I used to use tall thin trees (very like 2D paper) to mark borders of forest rather than actually have the whole forest on the table.

I agree, a forest is impossible to fill on the gaming table. I sidestep that galantly by concentrating on the Pirueti plains and beaches of WashaFishy... Both are places where the trees are extremely spread out. *** I get the hint from the poll.... ;D ;D I will do my terrain 2D. Frankly that is actually A Very Good Thing (AVGT) , I can put more stuff onto one paper this way...
