What do you think? Should we try to do an all cartoony Wild West theme? Shadowolf, didn't you have houses up on a webpage ages ago? Or am I having a pipedream by the totempole?

You could have the streets and alleys as the corridors and the buildings as rooms, in a single town. Or have a more abstract, the 'trail' is the corridor and the indian village, old mine, the fort, the town, the ranch etc, are all 'rooms' off the 'Trail'

I did have some buildings on an old site...still have all the files.
Might be worth making a generic size building to fit flush with the street tiles. Loved that idea btw mahotsukai! ;D They could even have a lift off roof.
Funny enough I just started watching the HBO miniseries deadwood again and sketched a couple of ideas. Some generic figures with a set of weapons that could be cut and pasted in.
One thought I had was to also do the game in a large hotel/ saloon or even a train with each carriage being a room. The objective being to make your way to the mail car or the locomotive.
Regards, Paul

Going with the 'trail' idea again you could have 'nested' Plungin games.
The 'outdoors' locations could lead to 'indoor' games, thus having a sort of campaign type game.
The players start 'on the trail' where they discover a bushwhacked prospector.
They then have to go to the town to register his claim. Leading to hi-jinks in a town plungin' game.
Then they have to go to the prospectors mine to see off some claim jumpers. etc. etc.

Thank you, I just wish I had the artistic talent to match the creative ideas Funny enough I just started watching the HBO miniseries deadwood again and sketched a couple of ideas. Town, Fort, Ranch, Iron Horse, Mississippi Steamboat, Indian Village, old gold mine. Saloon/Hotel.

Just thinking about names, and the similarity between Plungin' and Pluggin'. I just can't think of anything that sounds like dungeon.
Dungeon Plungin'
________Pluggin'

I liked the plungin bit as being the basic trademark kinda name and all others being variations on it it. Sorta suggests getting stuck into or just diving into something.
My vote though is the original subject line. I just love the title "How the west was plunged"

Yeah, I vote for it too.
Diggin' n' Pluggin' sounds more like a gold-digging game...
'How the West was Plunged' is more allround Wild West.

I made a horse template for you to pimp as you please. With a saddle for the cowboys, and without for the injuns If the above pic isn't OK for some reason, you can download it from my folder at: www.papermakeit.comI am planning on trotting and running as well, but that will be down the line. Anyone made some sketches on minis yet?
