Well I have been very busy these past few days. I have done up 16 sketches for some of a starting force for Drakkenheim. They include, 5 townsfolk, 5 ex-soldiers, 2 hunters, 2 high guardsmen, a werewolf, and a minor mechanical monstrosity. I will be adding to this, the wolf design from DP, and my 2 of my zombie desgns bring the total mini count to 20. The sketches have moved through the ink stage and I will begin uploading them, clean up, and coloring. My goal is to have them finished within a week.
As soon as the minis are finished I will be completeing the first two basic houses, the road system, and wall section. That will be enough to start playing Drakkenheim. The rules themselves are in a very near playtest version. As with Splatball(next on the burner)The rules are FOW with some unique twists to it.
As soon as the inks are uploaded I will get some previews up for those interested.

I remember the sketches for this idea and I'd look forward to seeing the progress too.

Ok here is the first batch of 5. The poor townsfolk of Drakkenheim. I still want to do another color scheme for them bringing the total to 10. I am sorry it took so long and the progress was not as much as I wanted but things have been windy and cold here and power has been somewhat spotty Love to hear some opinions and I am goign to start work on the ex soldiers this week if all goes well.

I like 'em and I may have to use them as a Dungeon Plungin party. Now, where's that foam core...?

Looks great! A nice selection of weapons and the colors work very well together! I am looking forward to the second color scheme.

Very nice. I like the assortment of poses, they really capture the angry mob of villagers kind of look.

Oooohh!! Run away, Shrek! they're comming to get you! I approve! They look great, the poses are awesome (and they are totally steal'able for Dungeon Plungin too). I want to hear (and see!) more! I'm really excited about this. Now, anyone care to enlighten me on what is Drakkenheim? (a small nitpick: I think you could lighten up the dark blue pants, because its merging with the black outline) (another nitpick: the back side of the mustache man's scythe has been chopped)

Cool! I specially like the subtitle: "a game of deliciously evil fun". Keep it up!

Lookin great I can't help but hope there will be a band of evil gypsies somewhere there led by a wicked crystal ball gazing crone. I seem to remember a Goodies epsiode with " we are the gypsies...we come to steal dee horses"

These figures look fantastic! I will have to complete the Drakkenheim Armadillo Cannon Carrier to match the other vehicles . . . Drakkenheim . . . And probably finish the Badger Support Scout . . . And do some different color schemes for each of the factions Bobby is developing

There is lot to go After the next batch of minis I will have to turn my attention once more to designing the wicked looking buildings of Drakkenheim. I am hoping to employ some of your 3d genius with that shaun. I love the Badgr mod you made for Drakkenheim and I am looking forward to the rest. Though I think I will have to go with some name changes for the vehicles to reflect the scary nature of the game. I was thinking Harbinger for the Badger and Minotaur for the Armadillo, don't have one for the Groundhog yet.

I don't know a whole lot about the setting, but I think a gypsy type wagon or caravan would be quite fitting from what I have seen so far.
