I went through all my stuff this weekend and found out that ALL the in-work files on both the Pirueti and the Washafishy tribes are corrupted! A couple of years down the drain...
Except some files here and there I won't be able to recreate them anymore. There are no useful sketches and linedrawings either...
Ah well... The .pdf's on the tribes are done so it's no real deal. I will post some previews on other tribes instead. ;D

Bad news and Good news: Bad news corrupted sketches Good news the pygmy project isnt dead
Why dont you print the pygmies and copy them into a white sheet?
With them you will have the sketches another time. Dont you?

The files were the scanned sketches of single pygmies with layers of colours and shading and so on. Not really possible to do again without starting over. But as I said, those tribes are published now except from some stragglers. No big deal. I start over on other pygmy tribes instead.

Right, Here goes; Here are some previews of civilian minis, a Pirueti builder and Washafishy women with child. It is also a way to show how I work. I draw my minis about 200% to be able to get the details in. I draw in blue pencil on 5mm squared paper. that way I keep proportions from mini to mini all through a project. I add black linework at this stage. The blue colour is important in the next step. When I have scanned the minis I usually split them in files with a single mini. Then I select all the black lines and delete everything else. That way I don't have to erase my pencilsketch to reveal the black lines. After that I add a couple of layers on the mini to colour it. Usually one layer with flat fills and the shading on separate layers. That way I can change skin colour or the colour of a hat in one fill. Complex minis like the Bonerattler will have a flipside drawn on paper. But minis like the woman in the middle is easy to change in the computer. If you want to get some pics of mine to mod, click the link below. You will come to my Flickr where I have posted a Roman legion with Celtic and Greek enemies. www.flickr.com/photos/42373068@N04/sets/72157624813727492/

By the way. Slorm, you asked me in a pm if it is possible to change the skin colour on the pygmy-pdf's. I would say you would have to do it manually in GIMP or something like that. Sorry for the late answer, I don't log in very often on that board, so I didn't see your pm 'til yesterday.
