Allright.
The .pdf's with the modified Roofs, rooftriangles and wall pieces are up now.
I have added Robo cutter registration marks, but I am a clutz around the Robo software - so, anyone, please feel free to add .gds files to this post if you make any. Any future housepieces will have the same layout to minimize the need of .gds files.
I have other textures in mind, but haven't actually finished anything more as of yet.
I plan to do more wood but also stone walls.

I tested the build with cutting lips off in every corner. It works like a charm! Pics are up as proof. Thanks for kicking my mind in gear, Erf_Beto. There is a need of a base, though. I posted some wooden pieces too this afternoon. With the new stuff you can build shelters for sheep or pigs or gruntlings or whatever too. You can also build simple A-frame houses for those out of reach villages populated by Picts or Forsworn Goblins.

It might not be buildings, but; Trees and bushes in 15mm are up now. They are simple flats, not even 2.5D. But I don't think they need to be more than that at this size. Hope you like! I don't have a printer at home, so I'm not sure I got the props down to scale... But; I made a meadow of 12x12 half inches with grass, flowers and a skull. New edit; Sometimes I feel really computer illiterate... Sorry, guys. I was not aware Flickr reformatted pdf into JPEG. I will try to find somewhere else to post my pics.

Two files more; Townhouses from feudal Japan. - At least my kind... The roofs with small rooftriangles. I have deliberately left out the glue tabs on the triangles, use Beto's technique of gluing sides and triangles on one single piece. db.tt/03DVkOhDA selection of walls. Maybe I will add walls with shopfronts with cloth awnings(sp?) in the future. db.tt/F39blnocNote: the roofs are flush with the walls, no overhang as in the roofs in the post above. I had a pipedream of making a modular japanese castle too, but then I woke up... We'll see what tomorrow brings... I have other sets to start up first. Think southwest north American Pueblo... And Beto suggested present day buildings for a 3D Splatball... This is a very fun scale to work in.

Two more files. This time it is Pueblo adobe -ish... If we blow life into 'How the West was Plunged'.... A selection of walls. The walls with wooden beams are meant to 'suport' a roof. The other walls are meant to be lower levels. db.tt/ULOnMi3fThe roofs. The squares are there to check movement. Yes, I forgot trapdoors, let's call this a work in progress... db.tt/zoHgSo8kA designers note: The sides of the roof are quite thick. That's to give you room for using whatever thickness of foamcore you happen to have at home. Excess paper will be folded under the roof. Many of the roofs in this architecture usually have some kind of low walls. So I have more to make for this set as well.

Thanks!
Is there something special anyone wants to see in this modular project?

Some terrain made so as to get a feel of the houses. A woodcutters' hut with outhous for his goats. db.tt/rRi4XZnKThe base is 6" square.

awww so cute! ^_^ You could try overlaping some tabs at the center, in the junction of the roofs... Hmmm, I just had a thought about the trees... what if instead of a black outline, they had a green one? Would they look better? They seem to stand out, but maybe that's just because the half inch scale makes them look thicker... :/ Question: how did you make those (apparently) perfectly round bases? Is that foamcore? How thick? (I'm sure you've answered that before, but, you know... )

The bases are foamcore. They are slightly thicker than 1/8". And yes, they are very near perfectly round because I got this set of circle knife blades meant for doing round holes in foamcore. The round piece is meant to be thrown away, but I bought the knifes just for doing bases. There is this company called Foamwerks that has a lot of great toys for paper nerds. www.foamwerks.comHmmm... I see what you mean with the roofs, and I will check up the trees. But the trees and bushes are my beta stuff. The .pdf I uploaded have lighter trees as well. - And the printer at work got wonky settings. The trees are - very - saturated. If you pale them down I think you will get better results.

Huge thanks for that link! It's really hard finding (good) paper punchers and (good) craft tools here in Brazil. Importing can double the price, but I have a friend going to USA next month, I may get her to bring one for me! ^^ Does it cut through paper too? (like, when you glue foamcore and a sheet of paper or sticker paper to make colored/textured bases) And don't get me wrong, the trees look good! I just wondered whether they could be improved.

You are welcome, they have some cool stuff. Well, the smaller circles got a bit squished as you can see on the bush to the left, and that was without extra paper. To be honest, I threw away some I destroyed completely. When it works it looks cool. - But the knife is not designed to be kind to the bit you cut out, just to make a nice hole. Oh. No worries. I didn't get you wrong at all. I wasn't very pleased with the trees myself, that's why they are beta! I think the trees I uploaded will look much better. Unfortunately I have no printer at home, so I can't test print the way I would like to do.
