Just wanted to say that I downloaded the game a few days ago & have been reading over the rules during lunch. I think the game is great! I hope to be able print it off this weekend & play.
My daughter & I have already made a few modifications of the Heroes to give more female choices for her!
Got a couple of few questions about the rules that I hope someone can answer:
1) What is the cost of Sneak Attack? (page 3 of the rules)
2) Levels/Advancing - How do you save XP to advance a level? Under "Levels" on page 4 it seems like each Hero advances separately, but on page 13 under "Advancement" it states that XP is pooled. Also under "Advancement" it says that XP is saved until all heroes advance. Wouldn't this penalize a level 1 hero trying to advance to level 2 when the rest of the party is at level 8?
3) You can spend XP to buy Special Abilities. Does this come out of the same XP pool (whether individual or pooled) as you use to level up? For instance would a level one hero with 50 XP have to decide between leveling up or buying Charge?
Thanks!

Some Good questions that may be better left to Oversoul to answer. However I will give what I think I know.
1. I will need to check the original drafts.
2. I was under the impression that XP was divided between the players, and advancement could be individual. There has been a lot of changes around this area so some confusion could have occurred
3. Yes it does come out of the same xp pool, which means the party needs to work as a whole
I hope you will take the time to share some of your modifications. You could always post them in a Gallery over at Paperworlds and link to them from this thread . . . Please!!

I knew there was a question I forgot to ask - where should I upload the mods? I've put them in my gallery at Paperworlds. The link is arkcaver's Gallery. I have completed a female fighter with two weapons and a female thief. Still working on a female wizard, and maybe an elf (the first draft of the female wizard looked 'elf-ish' so I saved it and may work with it a little). Dewayne

Ahh!! I knew there was a question I forgot to ask - where should I upload the mods? That is a question that is quite important, actually. We have been throwing that idea around; To have some kind of "Fan Art" section on the homepage. But we have not gone further than the idea - but now there could be a growing need for it...? If/when we have a Fan Art section, it would probably be handled like this: You send us your stuff and we put it up on the webpage. For the time being you did the best thing, put it on Paper Worlds and made a post with the link. Oh, and I gotta say I like the girls! They are new minis while still retaining Bobbys 'trademark' style.

I was hoping I didn't stray too far from the source. btw, I just posted the last of the female figures I was working on; a female wizard. Again this one is on arkcaver's Paperworld Gallery. I'll probably work on coloring them with several different color schemes before I work on anything else.

Shaun already answered it but I thought I would add some on to it. We thought the XP pool idea would encourage better group play instead of a bunch of players out for themselves.
We are still discussing the whats and hows of a fan section, but do not worry about removing it from Paper-Worlds double posting helps build popularity!
