Dungeon Plungin is my favorite...after that it is harder. I think they are all good, but thematically, I really like Pygmies too...I think DC has a lot of potential, but hasn't seen much support as of late. I like the Splatball board game too (more than the mini game version). I don't think I can pick a second and third though. Most everything has its own strong suits, I just happen to like Dungeon Plungin the most, maybe because it reminds me of old rpgs.

Yeah DP is a clear winner for me...very neat and polished and oh so adaptable. Second is the pygmy game...i just keep hoping all the time to see an expansion for that one....<looks in Bryn's direction> Can't wait for my son to be old enough to have his own pygmy tribe Paul

Flat out War and it's derivatives Pygmies, Splatball, and Tortoise vs. Hare. Closely followed by DP. Lack of time and too many commitments mean no time to think about RP type games.

The Pygmies and DP fight for no 1. Number two goes to Splatball Suburban legend and third place to the Tortoises and the Hares.

Pygmies is # 1, purely because I have had so much fun with it over the years. Splatball Suburban Legends and DP fight for #2. Both are great boardgames but cater for different tastes. I use SBSL like a tactical wargame, as it tends to bring out the serious side, despite the comical figures. DP is definitely the fun hack & slash game where I try to encourage mixed results rather than being serious. (I really should post some of my orc and ghoblin Quests!) #3 is actually Quique! I really like simple RPGs that allow you to get into the action. There are too many RPG sessions where a player gets bored or cannot turn up and the game finishes unresolved. We are still playing a Quique campaign (Cataclysm) which I started as a solo game 2 years ago.
