Hello, I am from México. I found a review on drakesflames.blogspot.com/2009/04/dungeon-game-review-dungeon-plungin.html and got interested in the game. So now before i play I'm translating the game to "Latin American Spanish". And I have a question about this: 1- do i need to ask permission to someone to make the translation? 2- How do i notice when changes are made to rules, quests? 3- I'm happily willing to send the translated document when its finished I have another question about the game itself but I'm going to post it in a separate thread. Sorry about my English.

Hello and glad to have you here. So now before i play I'm translating the game to "Latin American Spanish". And I have a question about this: 1- do i need to ask permission to someone to make the translation? For your own personal use you do not need to ask permission. However I would need to discuss the options with the other members if you wanted to post the files on a "Latin American Spanish" website. Updates are announced on our website and also at the BGG website ( www.boardgamegeek.com). However we may be able to arrange something with email if we progress further! I will chat to the other members! Regards Shaun

Yes, my intention is to share the translated manual, quests, etc.
I was thinking in just give it to you so you can make it available for download on your site. But I like the idea of making a fan site and make it available there... Either way, i will wait for your response, and only use the translation for myself.

Yes indeed. The only thing I still need to do is to check again for spelling mistakes, and a few words that i dont know how to translate like (great doors). I am working with Scribus, this is what i have so far. I still have to translate the quests. Below is the rapidshare link to get the translated Manual (not finished). Based on version 3.1-1 rapidshare.com/files/335428632/dp-es.pdf.html

Great work! I'm no language scholar but try the term "great portals" for the grand doors. I think it would be roughly, "grandes portales ." Sorry if I just murdered the Spanish language, it's been at least fifteen years since I've had a Spanish lesson.
