I tell you I am having the worse time with the magic/psionic/supernatural/whatever system I just cannot set my mind to a method I like. Here are things I want to include in it. As simple a dice mechanic as possible. Spells mostly fit into neat little boxes where range either touch, close, or long. Duration is easily defined. Target is single or group. You roll your CP draft an attribute and done. I really dislike all the extra rules and rolling that comes along with most magic systems. I do not want chuckers to have to referene a tome or right everything down to cast a spell or use a power. I would love to just have a Magic() attribute tht you roll for ever spell, BUT that runs the danger of having a lot of power really easily. So my absolute biggest delimma remains I must take an overly complicated idea and simplifiy it as much as possible but I never feel it is simplified enough. Am I over thinking it? Is the system as is fine? I feel I kinda copped out on it in the rules. I dunno. Frustration...my new home. END VENT

I better look over the existing DC magic rules again before I offer my wild ideas.
