How do you make those PDF files? Is it Acrobat Writer or something else? I've got something called CutePDF. (It was free) It basically just prints a document to a PDF file, but it just doesn't have that clean, professional look. I was trying to make a file of the fantasy monsters webpage from your website (sort of a "monster manual"), but my pages kept getting cut in half in the wrong places. Any advice?

The problem with doing a HTML is a webpage is treated like one big page for printing purposes. The computer does nto break it up into neat pages. Also HTML images never convert right and thats why you have such a blocky look to it. you should go to RPGhoard and download DC v1 and you will see I did the same thing and had teh same problem!
Now my process is much different. Once I have everything written I use Adobe Page Maker to do the layout. Then I just use Adobe Distiller to convert the file into the final pdf.

Aha! Thanks for the tip. I deleted the old file and uploaded a new and improved version: games.groups.yahoo.com/group/dicechucker/files/DC_-_Monster_Chucker.pdf It's still simple, but much better than my first attempt. I tried copy/pasting some 'toons from the original DC rules, but they just didn't come out right. The ones that I copy/pasted from the webpage were OK. Weird! The file size might be a bit large too. (661 kb) I still need to learn about file compression. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

I looked it over and it looks good. It is a huge file for just 7 pages. I am sorry that is not more constructive but the layout is simple and straightforward, what else can eb said.

True. Pretty straightforward. I was just happy to make one at all. A few days ago it was a complete mystery to me. Thanks again for the input. Now I can start working on my own scenarios!
