I actually did wind up making a Light Lore - haven't stated out the EXP cost, but mechanically it's pretty balanced from what we've tested. Attachments:

You could make one using the Magic School of Earth. You have Life Force and Rebirth to heal and ressurrect Heroes (unless this school didn't exist when the request was made. It is in v. 3.1).
Hope it helps...

You can always compile spells from existing schools and make up your own Magic School (or Schools). If spells are missing, then create them and add them into your school. Unfortunately there are so many interpretations of how magic should be divided up and categorized, that we cannot cater for everyone. DnD, WOW, etc. all have their own systems. Feel free to change things to suit how you want to play!

I think that the schools are pretty complete at this point.
It DOES bring up a good point (since I am a "How do you do this?" kind of person). How do you determine the cost of certain spells? Is there a formula for this, or is it "that sounds about right" for the costs?
I am interested in hearing more about the construction of things...
I DO have a quick question (might as well ask it here). If the Manna Sword and the Manna Staff have the SAME ability, and the same modifiers, then why are there different point costs?

UUUUUhhh, the Manna Weapons! I should check with Shaun what's the latest verdict because that's been discussed numerous times (and I haven't been here from the start). If I'm not mistaken though, the staff is a ranged weapon, while the sword is melee... am I right?

8 Squares. The new rules spell it out a bit clearer.

Back to the topic of Blessing." Since there is a "Lucky" ability, why can't you have a "Blessing" ability? It would allow you to re-roll a 1-2's roll ONCE per game. The catch is this: - The blessing ONLY affects the item that is Blessed. If you have a "Blessed" Sword, then if you are using your bow and miss, then it is a miss. Only attacks resulting in 1-2's with the Sword would allow the re-roll.
- If you re-roll, and the results are 1-2's, then the weapon is detroyed.
- This weapon is considered a "Magical Weapon."
I think that if this were going to fall into one existing catagory, it would be Earth. Do you agree? I would say that since "Lucky" costs 50 Creation Points... well, I can't make a guess as to what to point this skill up as. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason that spells are pointed up as they are (except that the point values "feel" right). Chainmail (+2 Armor) costs 50gp Fire Shield is a DIF 2 spell, and gives the same +2 DEF, and it only cost 20. Plus you have to have the Magic School, as well. Ok, I don't know, maybe there is some formula out there for calculating things like this. If you can have an ability under Magic, then you should ALSO have the Ability in the ability section, and vice versa. (At least I would think so). *-Also, I just happened to notice that there are two skills called "FIND." One is used on a person, the other is on a trap in the room. Just thougt I would point that out. It could tent to prove quite confusing. I think the "Bless" ability would work, I just need a point cost, please!
