I hope this is the right spot to ask this Being pretty new to this kind of games, I have a few questions: 1) There are 2 different dungeon tiles for this game. One more in grey - the other with green/red. Which one do you recommend to start with? 2) Is it true, that I play this game with quests? Or could I play it alone by using the 28 pages manual? If so - how? Do I create my own quests? 3) There seem to be more monsters in those 2 quests (it´s two - isn´t it?), than I can print out? Would I get them elsewhere or do I not really need more than are in those download files? 4) Do you laminate or cover the floor tiles in any way? Do you put them onto card board/ foam board or similar and keep them just paper-y? 5) If one needs quests to be able to play the game - will there be more to come? Really am loving the cuteness of your games there. It is very hard not to rush off and spend quite every Cent on material to create all at once *G*. Thanks in advance for helping me with your answers. Your creativity rules Thanks heaps for offering this online !!! And thanks also to those manuals bout basing etc. They are a great help !

1) There are 2 different dungeon tiles for this game. One more in grey - the other with green/red. Which one do you recommend to start with? Either. I printed mine in all Black and White ( because I'm cheap! ) 2) Is it true, that I play this game with quests? Or could I play it alone by using the 28 pages manual? If so - how? Do I create my own quests? There are currently two quests/scenarios. The Quests are needed because they give you the chance of monsters/chests doors etc appearing in any room. 3) There seem to be more monsters in those 2 quests (it´s two - isn´t it?), than I can print out? Would I get them elsewhere or do I not really need more than are in those download files? The rules do mention more monsters and I believe that the guys here will produce those minis soon. However in the meantime you might try the following link. At the bottom of the page are a series of figure images each one links to a bunch of minis. www.gwindel.eu/Jeux_de_roles.html 4) Do you laminate or cover the floor tiles in any way? Do you put them onto card board/ foam board or similar and keep them just paper-y? Mine were printed to paper and then stuck to cardboard ( old breakfast cereal boxes ) with clear sticky tape. 5) If one needs quests to be able to play the game - will there be more to come? I think they plan some more. What you can also do when you've downloaded a scenario, is alter it slightly to give you more monsters or a better chance of finding a Great Door. Try it. Just play around with the numbers, it can give a dungeon a totally new feel. This is just advice from a fellow player.

Welcome to the Oversoul Games forum, Drawingblood. It sounds like you've got the Dungeon Plungin' bug. I'm not sure how you would play a solo game of D.P. Perhaps someone else can make suggestions about that for you. The main idea about the game is to have fun!

Thank you for this fast reply FNH - i look forward to be able to fiddle round with the numbers ! Will try out the link, once I got all my tiles together. It has also a good explanation for bases. (Do you use the one with the "clamps" or do you have foam board to press the miniatures into?) The cardboard paper tape method sounds interesting (and time intensive) ! Relieved to hear, that not everybody manages to do all in foam board (which is hard to find round here ). Spent the last 2 hours creating a few heroes and the bases (to see how that goes) - and it helps to dampen the DP bug ccreal67 - I thought of starting with DP, because it was introduced for 1-4 players (being myself on a hunt for solo-games). I would love to play the tortoise-hare one too, but haven´t yet the proper gamers for that one. So I began with DP - and can´t wait to try it out. I am sure, I will bother you with questions again. For now I´ll be trying first to get this game cut, glued and taped. Thanks again and happy gaming !

Welcome to the Forum! Its no problem you asking questions. Everybody does at one point or another. This game is great and I know you will pick it up easily. Look in the DP forum and don't forget to print out the way cool character sheets and equipment chits that FNH made for the game. They are in the "some additional items for your game" thread. Also there is a cool wolf that Oversoul made in the "Thoughts after play" thread. Hope that helps! ;D

I hope this is the right spot to ask this Being pretty new to this kind of games, I have a few questions: Welcome aboard Drawingblood. I hope I can shed some light on your questions. 1) There are 2 different dungeon tiles for this game. One more in grey - the other with green/red. Which one do you recommend to start with? Either is great to start with! 2) Is it true, that I play this game with quests? Or could I play it alone by using the 28 pages manual? If so - how? Do I create my own quests? Eventually we will add some rules for creating your own quests but we have to tinker with the rules some more to find out exactly what those rules need to cover for creating your own dungeons, traps, monsters, and treasure. 3) There seem to be more monsters in those 2 quests (it´s two - isn´t it?), than I can print out? Would I get them elsewhere or do I not really need more than are in those download files? Unfortunately DP was released piecemeal. I have the wolf completed and Shaun is coloring it. I also have the devilings and imps finished. The gargoyle and demon need to be cleaned up and colored and they are ready too. 4) Do you laminate or cover the floor tiles in any way? Do you put them onto card board/ foam board or similar and keep them just paper-y? That tends to be a personal choice I just print them out on cardstock, cut them out and clue them up. 5) If one needs quests to be able to play the game - will there be more to come? Most definately. DP is on my list of things to do. If yall are wondering the list comprises three things. Splatball, Drakkenheim, and DP Really am loving the cuteness of your games there. It is very hard not to rush off and spend quite every Cent on material to create all at once *G*. Thanks in advance for helping me with your answers. Your creativity rules Thanks heaps for offering this online !!! And thanks also to those manuals bout basing etc. They are a great help ! Thanks for the kind words! We will definately be getting mroe out so yall can spend much more money on printing out our stuff! ;D

1) There are 2 different dungeon tiles for this game. One more in grey - the other with green/red. Which one do you recommend to start with? I recommend the green/red as it was designed for the "Den of the Orcish Raiders" Quest. This Quest has all the figures and everything required to play, available in the downloads or in these threads.
The figures for the grey tiles are all that is missing, and they are almost complete.
2) Is it true, that I play this game with quests? Or could I play it alone by using the 28 pages manual? If so - how? Do I create my own quests? Eventually the game will have some sort of Quest generator, but at the moment we only have the Quests that are available.
3) There seem to be more monsters in those 2 quests (it´s two - isn´t it?), than I can print out? Would I get them elsewhere or do I not really need more than are in those download files? As mentioned previously - For DOR, only the wolves are missing from the downloads and they are available in another thread. You could grab other paper figures from many of the paper figure groups that exist on the web.
4) Do you laminate or cover the floor tiles in any way? Do you put them onto card board/ foam board or similar and keep them just paper-y? I printed mine onto some light card (190gsm) and then stuck them under some heavy books to flatten them. You can speed up the process by wetting the back of the printouts with a "mist bottle" full of water (not a spray bottle - too much water) and I have heard of one guy who uses clothing starch?
5) If one needs quests to be able to play the game - will there be more to come? There are quite a few quests in the design stages. Unfortunately, getting time to playtest them is the biggest difficulty

Thanks for the welcome on here Been creating the majority of the tiles and all the doors, characters and chest ! On a full stop now, as I ran out of card board Will also need some colour to cover the foam board bases (finally found a place on the internet, which sells it even HERE - and hopefully also thicker than the one I got from one shop - 3-4mm thickness WON´T do). Using sticky tape on everything, that stands upright - which took also some time to finish *phews* Can´t wait to be able to continue the glue-ing business - but that type of card board isn´t easy to find (back of sketch books). The miniatures are simply CUTE !!! I wonder how you (from oversoul games) discovered miniatures. Best wishes, that you will create more for a LONG while Great forum too ! One thing.. in case anybody wondered: The contact link (the e-mail address) you provide isn´t working. At least I got a reply saying - this address isn´t existing. That´s also the reason, why I ended up here *g*. NOT A BAD THING !!! I want to point out. And you can bet, that I downloaded every single file available here for DP
