Thought I would post some of the monsters I'm modifying and coloring for my Greek quest. I'd like to post these when I'm finished, so if you have any comments or criticisms, please post them! ;D This is the first batch. All are from One-Monks figures, and can be downloaded from the Fan Art section. In order from left to right we have a Slagnite Monster, a Giant Horn Toad, and a Harpy. Dewayne

I like the Harpy made from the duck, that's a good use of cut and paste! JIM

Great figs!
The coloring turned out really well Arkcaver and Onemonk's mini's hit the theme on the nose! Nice to see awesome collaborative work.
Thanks Oversoul and Shaungamer for letting the figures get posted here as well!
I have a question about software used in the design process. Of the three figures, the first two look fine. In the third there is what I call blur or fuzz, a few solitary white dots that I often get when trying to utilize wand or rope selecting tools offered in graphic software packages. Obviously the first two were either cleaned up or were handled differently. Can anyone shed some light on how to remedy/fix this?
Does it have to do with gif to jpg conversion?
Thanks!

Obviously the first two were either cleaned up or were handled differently. Can anyone shed some light on how to remedy/fix this? The blur/fuzz is a fault of my stupidity. I am enlarging Jim's figures to fit Shadowolf's Greek Heroes. So the first two were enlarged, cleaned up, then colored. Then I started on the Harpy... except I forgot to enlarge it. So when I was finished and went to post the figures I had a tiny knee-high harpy that didn't fit with the other figures. So I went ahead and enlarged the figure then posted it without cleaning it up. I will clean it up before I do a final posting of the Heroes, Monsters, Tiles, Doors, and Quests.

Here are the monsters for the 2nd quest in the series. While not actually 'Greek' themed, I think they will fit well into the quest series when it is complete. First up is the Ice Titan and the Yeti. I'm not real pleased with the Ice Titan - he's a giant ice cube! But I couldn't really come up with anything else for him. Next are the Snow Orcs, minions of the Ice Titan And finally we have those sneaky little thieves, the Ice Gremlins

I actually don't mind the Ice Titan and I think the Yeti and Snow Orcs are inspired. However the Ice Gremlins seem to lack something? I think the green color just doesn't suit the "ice" theme. Green is for Spring, Sun and warmth!! Maybe a bluer? color would be better? Also.... Do you want some Ice tiles? (I am only asking as some are already done!!)

I actually don't mind the Ice Titan OK. I guess I'm being over-critical. I originally wanted to try to turn the Earth Elemental into something more like the Ice Titan from Disney's Hercules movie, but I didn't have any luck. So the Ice Cube-like Ice Titan was more of a 2nd try. However the Ice Gremlins seem to lack something? I think the green color just doesn't suit the "ice" theme. Green is for Spring, Sun and warmth!! Maybe a bluer? color would be better? Hmmm... lemme see what I can do with the color. I may do a darker 'light blue' color than the Ice Titan or the Snow Orcs, just to set the color off from them. Also.... Do you want some Ice tiles? (I am only asking as some are already done!!) Well, actually I was going to use the temple/marble tiles that we were talking about earlier. But I was going to make some ice slides and chasms (I don't have my rules right in front of me, but one of the hazards is a chasm that splits the room apart). If you had some Ice Tiles and didn't mind me modifying them for my purposes... ;D Also, are you still working on some Cave Tiles? I would like to use those if you have them. If you're not thats OK, but if you have them then that would be great!

Here are the next group of monsters; the water monsters. From left to right we have the Water Titan, a Pollywog, an Amonite, and a Zombie from a drowned Greek Sailor. Don't what to call the Zombie... a Soggie Zombie? A Soggbie?
