Well some issues have already come to light . . .
The Time span example on page 13 is wrong. it should read: After playing for 12 Construction phases the players begin adding a +1 modifier to all Doorway rolls for each round played beyond the 12th (13th, +1, 14th, +2)
And the character sheet is missing a place for the Hero's level.
I will post the issues (and the fix) in this thread, until we are certain we have most things covered. Then I will upload a new version.

Well some more issues and potential issues have come to light.
The first is the Font colors used. They seem to work fine on my printers. I checked both color and gray-scale printouts, but I would be interested if anyone thinks they are too light. (It is a simple item to change!)
Next is some editing issues.
In the Knocking Wall quest the Stone Gremlin Law should read: Law: Sneaky -The monster will wait and only attack the nearest hero in an adjacent space to another monster.
The Descriptions are also wrong. To work out what figure is what, use the following: Gremlins - Red, Imps - Dark Pink, Devilling - Pink, Gargoyle - Purple Gray
On page 10 of the rules it lists a Torch, but it doesn't appear in the Items section. The missing bit is: Torch - This is a onetime use item. The torch can be used to negate the effects of Darkness. Torches are not reliable and can be used up at any time. After lighting a torch roll a D6 each action phase. On a result of one it goes out.
On page 18 under Damage the Armor Bonus example should read: A Character has a Defense 2, Leather armor +1 and a shield +1 to give a total of 4d6.
On page 19 Resisting a spell, the last sentence should say: If successful the spell fails to work, otherwise the spell takes effect as normal.
The final item is a potential issue and relates to Experience.
All experience goes into the pool, and is used when ALL players can level up. The problem is when you have an experienced character or characters and an unexperienced one. Say when one character dies, and a new replacement character is made and joins the group. Since the new character must wait until there is enough experience for the other three characters to level up, he could wait quite a while. For instance, if you had three characters of level 7 and one of level 1, the pool must get up to 2450 before all three could level up.
A possible solution is to put the experience in the pool as normal, then divide it up after the quest was over to allow the lower level character to gain some levels. You would only do this while one or more characters are at a lower level than the rest.
Just something for playtesters to think about!

Another issue (really two issues) is the difficulty for detecting traps on unlocked Doors and Chests in The Knocking Wall quest is missing. The Encounter Chart is also wrong in that it included the locked/unlocked staus when you should roll on the Chest Chart for each chest in the room. So here are the updated Charts Encounter Chart D6 Roll | Encounter | 1-2 | Monsters | 3-4 | Chest (1) & Monsters | 5-6 | Chests (D4) |
Doorway Chart D6 Roll | Type | 1-4 | Unlocked Door Dif:1 | 5-6 | Locked Door Dif:1 | 7+ | Great Door |
Chest Chart D6 Roll | Result | 1-3 | Locked Dif:1 | 4-6 | Unlocked Dif:1 |

Another issue appears on page 21 about Monster detection. The middle of the second last paragraph should read: If a Character moves onto a square within a Monster’s detection range. The player controlling the construction phase makes a detection roll for that Monster. Only one success is required and this does not expend a Monster’s Action.

I was working on a list of questions, but you covered most of them. I had no trouble at all with any font colors...I should have a lot more time for playing this weekend.

Thanks Dan! Its always better to have a few people doing the sanity checking, and its great when they back each other up.
Hopefully there won't be too many more issues discovered???

I hadnt played a magic user before this and I love it. ;D I am really glad you enjoy it. Magic users were a bit difficult to use in the old rules, as there were two conflicting ways to handle spells (Depending on which version of the rules you had!) Hopefully this is a bit more streamlined and will work better. I have added another Quest for the playtesters. Hopefully this will have less problems than the last one. Which reminds me, that I discovered some more issues in the descriptive text of the Knocking wall. I will add them to the list of fixes.

Found a few more mistakes in the Quests.
KW The Minor Demon is supposed to be XP:14 (Not 7) The Stone Devilling is supposed to be XP: 9 (Not 8) The Stone Gargoyle is supposed to be XP: 11 (Not 10)
The wording for the starting tile is totally wrong in the "The Adventure" section: The first room you enter is lit by two torches. Three closed doors lead from this room.
DOR The Orc Boss is supposed to be XP: 12(Not 7)
The final sentence of the Intro should read: Search the abandoned castle and free the Princess and put an end to the Orcs reign of terror.

Well I received some more good feedback from one of the playtesters that will require a rethink on some of the procedures to play the game. Some items are just a clarefication, or how to make things make sense! Those will appear here in this thread. However other items require a reworking of the mechanics or a change of design. These I will put in another thread for discussion amongst the playtesters. Just give me an hour or so to collect my thoughts and get something down in text!!

Well I ended up just putting a new playtest version up instead of putting all the changes into this thread.
Here is a general list of what was done:
I updated the Contents to include section Headings and reorganized the sections to make better sense.
I made changes to fix the issues mentioned in both DP threads.
I reworded the Playing the Game section so that it was less confusing.
I attempted to reword the Doors section of the Construction Phase chapter so that it was clearer.
I attempted to make the Action Phase clearer and allow you to perform any two actions rather than Move and one other.
Damage side effects is no longer a Table in the Quest. (I will need to update the Quests to reflect this!)
I have added two more Monster laws to the Examples.
I have updated the XP section to reflect the changes and how we handle Gaining abilities
I have added two more flow charts - Opening an Unlocked Door or Chest and Opening a Locked Door or Chest
I think that covers most of it!

I think the updated version is quite good at this point. I don't know what standard you are going for exactly before making it fully public, but you might consider putting it out there now, and then just starting an FAQ section in the forum for additional questions/issues.
