I tend to agree! I have received some really great feedback, that has enabled me to polish the rules to a level I didn't expect when I started. I really do have to thank everyone who participated! A FAQ should be able to resolve any issues that come up now! As a side note, I have made some formatting changes to the two Quests. (While I was deleting the Damage tables I decided to clean things up a bit)I also made some amendments to the DOR Quest so that the Traps and Events aren't the same as the KW Quest. I would really appreciate someone checking that I haven't deleted something I shouldn't have or made some other mistake while changing things around!! Thanks Again!

Well everything is right on track for a release this week. A couple of days earlier than planned but I don't think anyone will complain.
I still have a fair amount of stuff to finish for the "Design your own Quest" pdf, but that can be released at a later date!
Thanks again to all the play testers who have really been a great help! I doubt I could have done it with out you!

This was alot of fun! We really enjoyed figuring out all the changes and new stuff with the rules. The new figures, bases and doors are awesome! ;D We were glad to be a part of the rewrite. Whats next? Maybe playtesting the quest developer pdf or how about the How the West was Plunged variant we have heard about. It sounds exciting! Any way if you need help again just yell! ;D

Just a quick note to say there have been some delays in the "Quest Designer Manual". The major problem is trying to put everything down in a way that makes sense. Simple things like how to work out the XP of monsters are not really an issue. Its the more complex things like how to guarrantee you will get a Great Key for the Door that I am finding hard to put into words. The other issue is remembering everything that is in my head. Making sure I haven't forgotten something important that will make or break a Quest.
The final bit is how to convert some of the original Traps, Treasures and Events (that I left out of this set of Quests) to work with the new rules without making the game too complex.
I might get all the basics down and then let the play testers loose, to ravage the document and pull it into line.

I might get all the basics down and then let the play testers loose, to ravage the document and pull it into line. That might not be such a bad idea. I have been playtesting game systems for years and am comfortable receiving material in any level of development.
