Okay reading through the rules to actually play has raised a couple of questions regarding magical characters or my understanding may just be poor or I’m over analysing: To use magic the character must purchase Magic school, I’m assuming when you do this you have to select one of the 5 specific schools of magic? 1. Can you then purchase spells outside of this school? if not 2. Can you purchase the Magic school ability more than once to access other spell schools? A Magical character can learn a max number of spells equal to the MAG so if my character had a MAG=4 I could do 1x4 diff spells or 2x2 diff spells or 4x1 diff spell. I'm assuming the multiple copies allow the magical character to still access to spell if during a game they roll all 1,2's against that specific spell version/slot they have another copy to use? 1.Lightning (lucks out during game and this ones unavailable) 2.Lightning (Still has a copy here to use?) 3.Sleep 4.invisibility Thanks for the help/ clarification

Correct. You must choose one of the schools. No Yes. Be aware that some spells from different schools have the same effects! Correct. That is also correct!
