Hello,
I just found out this wonderful game and i wanted to build it.
I will build the base by just laminating the tiles i think it should be enough, but i have a lot of doubt on the minis, especially on the stands
How do you guys proceed? which kind of base do you use for your minis?

Welcome! Well... There is no right or wrong way of basing minis. Some use the great 'up side down T bases' that Onemonk makes. Some use a flat base and glue their minis 'the other way around' and have the fold above the mini. That way they can fold out the stand. Some - like me - use foamcore.

I normally use foam core, but as I can't get the 3mm stuff at the moment, I am using Onemonk's bases. I do tend to find they get looser with use.

I started to do some tests yesterday evening, here's what i am trying to do
For the base i use foamcore 3mm with the pdf for the rock base, i decided to go for the 3 instead of the 5 to save some space when i do not play. I am thinking about laminate one side of the paper before glue it, this would make it more resilient i think.
For the minis, i am not using the foamcoar, i just laminate the paper, bend, glue and then fit into a foam cora base 5mm high since the part of the minis that is for the stand is exactly 5mm and this fits perfectly.
The only doubt i have is if it is best to laminate the minis on both side and then glue on the laminate or just laminate the printed side and then glue on regular paper.
Any suggestion or changes you would make?

I think that sounds perfect! If you are happy with the results then that is all that matters. If you get the chance to post some photos, that would be appreciated!

Hello all, I think i am ready to play!
So far I successfully built all the tiles and all heroes/monsters for all level 1 quests. Tonight if i have time i'll upload some pictures of what i did!
I did a quick game, just to understand the rules and how the action phases works, and i think i got a first grasp at the game, but as a first opinion i think i have to agree with the guy who makes the podcast reviews about the fact that the door/chest system is too complicated and should be simplified, but this is the only complain i have.
I love all the rest, especially the monster law, this is a great idea that makes the adventure a lot more fun especially in rooms with a lot of different monster, each acting in different ways, making it more difficult to decide an attack plan
Great work guys! Are your quests the only one available or are there any custom quests users did? I found the manual on how to create new quests but i am not sure anyone used it so far
Thanks Max

So far the current quests are the only ones available. Tomb of the Liche King is a Quest created using the DYOQ manual by Dan. So hopefully the manual works!!
