Hey all....noob here. I stumbled across DP on BGG after looking at dungeon crawls w/solo option and thought..."This game is badass...next best thing to BE:Evo." And on that note, has there been a WWII version attempted to DP? I've been toiling over some thought about it and was wondering if it'd be "do'able".

No, no one to my knowledge has done a WWII version of DP. I have considered doing a pulpish toom raider type version. The system should be able to do it, it is pretty versatile, so long as you are not expecting a super amount of detail. Feel free to post your ideas!

I've been out of gaming for about a year and now getting back into I'm looking at something akin to COD5:WaW with a nice solid WWII theme with an option for Weird War II....zombies and werewolves. Perhaps with a bit of Indianna Jones/Tannhauser pulp thrown in. Now, to find the time for everything. I've been idly dwelling on an outdoor theme with encounters and what not. Instead of hallways, I was thinking of forest paths, or roadways. Instead of rooms, there'd be clearings or fields. Intersections would become crossroads. Special rooms would become villages, aid stations, or command posts. Of course, I'm no artistic talent like you guys, so I wouldn't be doing the tiles and such......just the tables and additional info. Just gotta playtest a new game for someone and I can devote more time to this thought. Was going over FOW earlier tonight and thinking how to maybe incorporate that for tank/armored encounters. Just a thought though. If anyone has thoughts or input, feel free to throw them my way. Otherwise, stay tunned. I'm slow, but steady.

Have a look at 'Airborne in my Pocket' over at BGG. You may get some inspiration from the tiles and game play.

One step ahead of you brother. It's pretty cool what they've done there. I've been killed by those d**n zombies for what seems like years now. So far I'm pluggin along nicely. Even been a bit inspired by Hulk Skulk. I was thinking of adding some wierd war material and see that parts of what I'm looking for have already done for the Hulk Skulk fan expansion. I'm a bit tied up with trying to come up with a character class title for someone that does both magic and psionics. I've worked out the base line stats for an NPC infantry scout, soldier, PSI soldier, medic, arcanist (mage), basic civilian. I'm trying to cover a basic real world WWII, Weird War II, and Pulp War versions. But I'm a bit stuck on what to name a character class that has both PSI and Mage powers. Not a Paranormalist....though that might work if I (we) can't come up with something else. Thoughts?

I envision the basic template having starting scores of 1 in PSI (viked from Hulk Skulk) and a 1 in MAG. With a LIF of 1. More to follow later.
