I just found out about these. You can print your own dice information, and glue (or use labels/stickers) and put them on these dice.
The dice are indented, so the labels won't rub off. I was thinking about these for DUNGEON PLUNGIN'!
You can use the brown ones for doors... "locked," "Unlocked" etc. looks a lot better than "4," and then consulting a chart.
Also, these come in 20 colors to choose from, and you can mix an match them. You could choose the colors to match the scenario/dungeon. You can use one to determine how many of something is in there, and one to determine WHAT is in there.
Imagine (just as an example), you have a Red Die (Number of foes - numbered 0-5), a Gold Die (Number of chests), a Green Die (since this is an Orc adventure - Orc, Goblin, Kobold, Troll, Ogre, and Goblin), a Grey die (to say what kind of room it is (Hallway, room, and so forth), A black die to say how many doors are in the room (1,2,3,4,2,1), 4 brown dice to say if the doors are "Locked, Unlocked, etc) - only use as many as there are doors, and 6 Silver dice to say if the chests are "locked, Unlocked, etc."
If you wanted to play an "Undead" dungeon, swap out the Forest die for the black one. Dwarves, switch it out for blue!
You can also have an IVORY die for "rolling" adventures. You can have a dice that has a Forest colored sticker that reads "Orc." When you enter a room roll THIS die first, and it will tell you what kind of creature you will encounter! If Black comes up, it will read "Undead..."
Moreover, by using the randomness of the "rolling" adventure, you can have up to 36 types of creatures you can encounter (6 colors of dice, six creatures per die...). Also, by having a random die numbered 0-5, you could encounter up to 5 of one kind of creature, OR you could roll 2 dice (two Forest dice for Orcs) and if you roll 2 results saying "Orc," then it is all orcs. If it is Orc on One, and Kobold on the other, then the player that rolled the dice can decide how many of each to place in the room (3 Kobolds, and 2 Orcs, for example on a roll of "5"). If you are lucky enough to roll a "0" then there is no creatures, just chests...
I am not saying to rush out and buy these, because you can make your own out of paper (they just aren't as accurate as physical dice). I am just saying that these have potential!
